so, Windsong is finally 60. She smashed her last ogre for xp in Burning Steeps and is looking forward to running cash quests.
Windsong's play style is more melee than healing. She's not too fond of dungeon quests (even more so now because she's usually feeding Ethan with the other hand).
She's been trying to decide how to spend her talent points since the talent tree reset. I don't have any advice except for "monster, smashy, goood~~". Seem Windsong would enjoy the PVE build from Wowwiki. Any shammy's out there want to share their build, or at least share what they think is a good build?

Tat's suggestion.
My approach was this: Windsong needs to be able to dispense with non-elite mobs quickly with very little downtime between fights, and she only needs just enough healing buffage to take care of herself in a pinch.
Elemental:
5/5 Convection - These are a PvE Shaman's bread and butter spells. Less mana cost = longer fighting.
4/5 Concussion - More base damage to the same spells means higher crits and better mana efficiency.
Enhancement:
Ancestral Knowledge - More mana is always a good thing!
Thundering Strikes - On big Tat, I've found this to be a significant increase in my melee crit rate and damage output.
Imp Ghost Wolf - At a 3 second cast, Ghost Wolf is more a luxury than anything else. At a 1 second cast, it's a viable "oops!" skill. For just two talent points, it's well worth it.
Imp Lightning Shield - This is the Shaman's most mana efficient damage spell. In fact, it's rumored to be the most mana efficient damage spell in the game! This talent makes it even more so.
Two-handed Axes & Maces - For just one point, the player has the option of using two handed axes and maces. Big Tat had a personal rediscovery with this one. :)
Anticipation - Chance to dodge means you live longer. I used this as the left-over-points-dump.
Flurry - Melee Shaman's swear by this one. Big Tat doesn't have it, but it seems like a great skill for Wind's play style.
Parry - Just one point gives you a chance to parry which means you'll live longer.
Restoration:
Tidal Focus - Mana efficiency in healing isn't that important to Wind, but with her play style Improved Healing Wave would be a total waste, so this is the most useful filler for row one.
Totemic Focus - Again, I suspect mostly a filler skill, but should give her a little more mana efficiency.
Healing Focus - The real point of getting into this tree in the first place. The ability to quick-heal yourself uninterrupted when meleeing mobs is a HUGE lifesaver.
Nature's Guidance - This is actually more of a combat skill than a healing skill, and since it opened up after building to Healing Focus it would be a shame to skip it. Chance to hit for both spells and melee attacks in one talent. Sexy! I think chance to hit is often underrated and very important.
One other note. While coming up with this build, I worked on the assumption that Windsong plays like Tsunokakushi. That is, passive skills are preferred over user-activated skills. Tsuno gets so caught up in the fight, that she'll forget to turn things like Natures Swiftness on, so while most players consider NS indispensible, it's just wasted points for her.
good stuff. sherie went with everything you said except for 3 points in Elemental Weapons instead of 3 in nature's guidence.
