Hidoi Wants some action!

So I am just a few bars from 70 and staying here until I am given a good reason to level uop, otherwise I'm racking it up in the BG's so I can get some honor gear. Since I am a moment's away from 70, I am starting to look for a arena team. I'd love to be in a good 5vs5 arena team so I'm looking for teammates or made teams that need a Mortal strike warrior. (I plan on respeccing) Anyone else interested in arenas or know teams that need their MS debuff dispenser?

Big Tat's Big Night

Lots happening in the world of Outland for Big Tat tonight. First, I hit exhaulted with Aldor. DING! Second, I got my mace crafted! [Hand of Eternity] Lastly, I was able to get the mace quite a bit cheaper than I expected. Thanks to Dojochicken who did the combine for 500g rather than the going rate of 800g.

This brings my +heal to 767. I'll get the +81 heal enchant thrown on it in a couple days for over +800 to heals. As Mar pointed out in earlier posts, this is still at the very low end for a raider, but that raw + heal rating cannot reflect the 8/8 EF set bonus that turns my big heal into a chain heal, which keeps players near the tank topped off. It will be a long long time before I stop wearing the EF set for healing.

Sweet sounds

So it looks like you can get the game to play it's sound files through scripts, sweet! Now I can hear all the naxx sounds.

So my guild is activly trying to promote a shadow priest for raiding O . O

So crap, I don't think I'll ever get a spot, one time restraints and 2...

Well aparently having 700+ (+ to spell damage) is just not enough. I went on a raid a few nights ago into Kara. Out of 10 people I was 7th in DPS. Yes, the TANKS where above me. 3 healers below me. This was in a pure dps boss fight. A place where shadow priests can open up a little. And not by a little bit either.

So anyone who wants to dps w/ a caster... shoot for 850-900+ spell damage or more.

I'm gona go cry now.

Then I'm gona start farming mats for the next set of gear.

What Sells @ The AH?

Some of these posting fees at the AH are getting a little ridiculous. What do you guys find sells well, and what do just DE w/o even trying? In general, I've found that:

• Any item with only a single stat type (i.e. strength only, int only, etc.) doesn't sell
• Any item with a lot of spirit won't sell
• Any item where the +heal or +spell dmg is written in white rather than green doesn't sell

Now for those of you that are thinking, Hot dang, how the F&*(%@ am I supposed to come up w/ the 5000+ gold to buy the epic flight ridding skill. Here some tips.

"Daily quests" You can do a total of 8 Daily quests (only one quest a day but 8 different "dailies)

At level 70 you gain more gold for quest turn ins so you will probably get 11.99g a turn in on these. So if you can do 8 x 12 that's about 100 a day w/o drops. For those of you casual players who get 2-3 hours in at a time. You should be able to make 250-300 with out too much AH action.

Also AH.. don't sell weapons and the like if you don't think they will be hot. W/ deposits reaching 12g Its probably better to melt it and put the mats on the AH for 0(unless this has been changed)

As for maraco... I am trying to sell an epic boe to make up about 1k. Hopefully before the wedding I should have 1/2 the money I would need.

Do You really need an epic flying mount? no. You can easily get anywhere in outlands with just the normal one.

Also picking a faction to grind rep for. Helpful and in the process of going for reputation you wind up getting items which you can sell for underpants or profit.

Now. As we all know, Maraco is poor because Enchanting is a money sink and have never sold any enchants actively. Also tailoring seems to be a money sink as well trying to collect the 400 motes of water that I have/need to collect just for 3 pieces of gear.

Black Morass

Just ran Black Morass with what I believe was a PUG. I was the last invite, so I don't know very well how the group came together. The tank was a Pally who I don't think healed even once (not a criticism, that's to be expected) and another enhancement spec shammy who put out serious DPS. He healed himself on occasion, but outside of that I was the only healz. We wiped only once on the final boss, and probably that's due to the fact that I'm a n00b to BM.

Great times. BM is a very unusual instance. If you've never run it, it's highly recommended. Just remember that you must have rescued Thrall in the very first Caverns of Time wing before it will let you in.

It will be a while but once most of us hit level 70, what is it we would like to do?

Hidoi and I where day dreaming and thinking it would be fun to Run Kara (i'll have to figure out what the full name means later).

Kara is a large 10 man instance w/ plenty of epics falling out of it. Its also a challenging instance that will require some gearing. Possibly a "REAL Tank" not a monkey or a cat.

As for a roster.

Hidoi/DamnedPriest (or how ever he spells it) Is our only active healer/tank atm.
Tatariushi/Tatarisomethingelse (Healer/Mage) Odd ball times atm, Possiblity if we schedual it at a good time for him
Calhoun/Guenter Not sure if he is interested in something like this. (espically since they boned both rogues and hunters) /whisper I think he should make a palidin.
Schnozbott (mage) well we have a large dps army.
Ageless (mage) play time is limited atm.
Peyrac/Dexter
Maraco/Fishmonger
Any others?
The problems I see. We will need a solid tank and a solid off tank. Possibly a Hybrid. Buffs are always very helpful. So we may want

So Let us brainstorm. I'm trying to get a feel for the instance, I get so lost in there right now. But the gear is bonkers compaired to most of what we get.

The tier 4 set for warriors looks so badass I just can't resist it. And it actually looks good on trolls too! As I don't think I'll be in Magtheridon's lair anytime soon, I gotta go through the arenas. Anyone else not yet in an arena group but want to be serious about PVP? KLH Threat Meter

A small mod that estimates the threat level of everyone in your party running it. Mandatory in most raiding guilds, but I'd highly advise it for anyone who ever groups with other players. Especially handy for casters who draw aggro a lot.

I just saw a movie that'll give your eyes boners, make your balls scream
and make you poop DVD copies of THE TRANSPORTER. It's called 300. I
don't know what the title has to do with the movie, but they could've
called it KITTENS MAKING CANDLES and it'd still rule.

It's about these 300 Greek dudes who stomp the sugar-coated @@%% out of
like a million other dudes. I have a feeling that a lot of high school
sports coaches are going to show this film to their teams before they
play. Also, gay dudes and divorced women are going to use screen
captures for computer wallpaper.

The movie takes place about a million years ago, and it's sort of like a
prequel to SIN CITY. Except way less guns and cars but twice as much
skull splitting. If you watch this movie and go into a Taco Bell, and
say to the cashier, "I need some extra sauce packets" guess what? You're
getting twenty sauce packets because your face will punch him in the
brain.

I can't spoil the plot because THANK GOD THERE ISN'T ONE. Just ass
kicking that kicks ass that, while said ass is getting kicked, is
kicking yet more ass that's hitting someone's balls with a hammer made
of ice but the ice is frozen whiskey.

TWO COOL THINGS ABOUT THE MOVIE AND ONE THING I DIDN'T LIKE:

COOL THING ONE:
HEAVY METAL DURING BATTLE SCENES

Who gives a @@%% if the music isn't historically correct? LORD OF THE
RINGS could've used some Journey. This movie has that chu-CHUNG kind of
metal that you hear in your head when your shift supervisor at Wetzel's
Pretzel is telling you that you'll have to stay for clean up and you
wish you had a sock filled with quarters in your hand.

COOL THING TWO:
FOES, MINI-BOSSES AND A BIG BOSS

Basically, the Greek dudes are fighting these Persian dudes, but the
director, who must have a **#% made of three machine guns, does it all
like a video game. The Greeks fight every death metal video from the
last ten years. There's wave after wave of giants, freaks, ninjas,
mutants, wizards, and a hunchback who looks like he's got Rosie
O'Donnell on his back.

Would I have been happy if Dom DeLuise from HISTORY OF THE WORLD, PART I
had shown up? Maybe, but this movie more than makes up for that glaring
oversight.

NOT SO GOOD THING:
DUDE NUDITY ("DUDE-ITY")

These are Greek times, when there were a lot of naked women around. And
there are some naked women in this film, but almost every naked woman
scene has a muscular dude giving the screen an ass picnic. Dude-ity is
something directors put in their movies so people will think they're
serious, I guess, and not just throwing in naked hotties.

Any directors reading this - IT'S OKAY TO JUST THROW IN NAKED HOTTIES.

Can't someone make a movie about naked Amazons and call it PAUSE BUTTON?

My final analysis is 300 the most ass-ruling movie I've seen this year,
and will probably be the King of 2007 unless someone makes a movie where
a pair of sentient boobs fights a werewolf.

So My video card decided to fry itself, it was a Radeon 9800. Advice on equivalent or better cards I should look for or any idea on how I can get one on the cheap? Thanks. Oh and until them no wow for me, so that's why I haven't been on.

I see folks online sometimes. They are either:

Level 70, and busy.
Level (mylevel + 4), and busy.
Busy running ST /ZF for the 38th time.
Busy PvPing for the 316th time.

I'm halfway through level 62. I've done a grand total of two group quests in a week of playing. I haven't been into any instances yet. Zangarmarsh looks like a giant's driving range. Blizzard hates my chosen profession, as the only trainer is hiding in the middle of the swamp, and mats I need to skill up with are something like a 5% drop from resource nodes.
