Uldaman Boss Pics

This is the end-boss for Uldaman. It's a bitch.

Every single one of the small statues standing around the room comes to life, but not all at once. They come to life at a rate that is related to the amount of health left on the main guardian in the middle. Therefore, you don't want to just jump the big guy and beat the hell out of him. Here's what worked extremely well for me, Zax, Wags, and a couple others:

1. Split your team of 5 into 2 sub-parties. Party one will handle the main boss, party two will handle all others.
2. Party 1 contains the tank and your backup (weakest) healer. Party 2 contains the primary healer and all others.
3. The healer in party 1 does nothing but heal the tank. The tank does nothing but attack the main boss. The tank should not make an effort to drive his dps up, as this would possibly overwhelm party 2 who is fighting off the smaller mobs which are coming to life one at a time around the room. (Remember they'll come to life faster if the tank starts damaging the main boss faster.)
4. The primary healer who is in party 2 does nothing but keep those folks healed.
5. First the smallest statues come to life working in one direction around the room. Then the next set of statues who are the next size up (I think there are 6) start coming to life. Once those are gone, the next largest statues (standing by the doors on the left and right in this pic) come to life.
6. By the time those 2 large statues awake, the health of the main boss should be getting more manageable. At this point the tank yells "NUKE" and everyone turns on the main boss completely ignoring any other mob and goes FMB using their most powerful forms of damage. Once the main boss is finished off, all other mobs will de-summon.

I know all you students and employees of the CSU system have tomorrow off for "Cesar Chavez Day."

BTW tomorrow, I choose to celebrate Susan B. Anthony. She should really have a holiday before Mr. Chavez. Not to knock him and his life, but seriously... Anthony's life work lead to the franchise being granted to 1/2 of the population. Chavez led a grape boycott.

I talked to Todd this morning. He would like to continue to try to make Tuesday evening a regular play night. Also, I know that at one point Will was available Sundays. Just for the sake of being updated, what are people's schedules like now?

Well it finally came to pass. Cal and I both dinged 60. Cal got his final level around 11pm Sat night, and I followed around 3am Sunday morning. To celebrate, I took Sunday off and did other things (studied and watched The Incredibles.)

I haven't even bought my new skills yet, because I only have 2 gold. I had 53 gold, but decided to pay off mount loans, and also accepted a quest where one of the things you have to turn in is 15 gold. (It has chained into an elite quest, so I don't know yet if the pay off will be worth it.)

I'd like to spend more time helping y'all out now, and of course working on my alts. At any rate, never hesitate to ask for help with anything.

Just wondering if we're still doing a lowbie WC run tonight? I've got a 23 Mage I can bring. I don't have any quests tho so I'd need to get them from someone. If we're going to do this, may I suggest 7:00 as a starting time?

anyone having cosmos issues? how do you solve them besides changing the # version number in the .toc?

Level 20ish instance run....

Lets say monday or tuesday about 6:30 -7:00 pm (pst) start time? what is there, WC... probably not... and RFC? SFK probably hit them up in order? RFK first... WC maybe hit that on a weekend (3-4 hour block)

I some times work 8am -7pm so on rare occations. i may not be on till 7:30-8...
