Hey, I hope you don't mind the changes...

The CSS bug that was causing the first post to look funny (at least in firefox) was driving me batty. I spent 2 hours trying to fix the old template, but being a CSS novice I couldn't pinpoint the bug. So... like any good, lazy programmer, I just scraped the whole template and started new. You like?

Also, I've added a feature to the site. When ever someone posts a comment to one of our posts, that comment gets added to the top of cool/cute yahoo group. What? You're not a member of the toc yahoo group? Well, click the link to the right here --->

Why would we want post comments to the yahoo group? Well, you can setup yahoo groups to send you an email anytime something gets posted there. That way, when someone posts here you can have it emailed to you.

Also, its a sneeky way for me to get the guild to use the yahoo groups page more... There's a neat calendar feature there... hint, hint.

We defeated the final boss! Yay! Good run last night, all.

Cosmos

As of this writing, cosmos has still not been officially updated for the new 1.5 patch. If you want to get it working, download the alpha build. I'm using it on my setup, and so far no problems. As soon as they release an updated official release version, I recommend you switch to that and no longer download the alpha build. The alpha build also currently has a few new tools that were not previously in cosmos, but were available as a seperate download such as Atlas and a tool for tracking damage dealt by party memebers.

In addition to cosmos, I also use and love:

• Mount Equip (currently testing the more sophisticated Equip Manager as a possible replacement)
• CT_RaidAssist
  (tracks player health/mana/buffs in 6+ man raid groups)
• Gatherer (remembers where you've found herbs/metals & other "gatherer" type items)
• Abandon Ship
  (automatically walks you off a boat/zepplin at your destination in case you take a bio break)
• I'm currently testing the various interface mods by Perl.
  

As of this writing, the above add-ons haven't been updated for this patch but seem to be working just fine.

The rogue plays with no equipment other than weapons. The mage takes up up to 4 guys at once. Both players demonstrate excellent knowledge of their cooldowns and fast reactions. I notice that the mage has very few examples of fighting other casters, which makes me suspect he's less effective against them. The mage also clearly knows his ranges very well.

ReRun of Uld and our guild priest.... I want feed back on this post

Uldaman needs its ass handed to it, and I need more group practice. Lets set a tentative date/time:
Tuesday at 7:30 meetings ->8pm run in.

Ok, now here is my issue, I suck at instances support atm. That is due to the fact that I am a Shadow priest. I could easily Re-Speck my skills, and spend a few more gold on support skills that i never picked up. But at this point in time, is not worth my time/energy/gold. What the problem comes down to is. If I re-spec as heal, my leveling curve will drop (soloing) meaning my level will not raise as fast as the rest of the (mid 40's pack). Well the counter argument was, well if we have a good instance support priest we would run more instances. /shrug

Over the next 6 levels I will increase some of my support skills in the talent tree if I do not change to heal-spec… I want to take a poll and see what you would think is best. If you want me to remain the same, please say so. If you think I should change to heal spec… I will need help leveling and hope that you could help. Any input is very helpful…

The alternative to me being heal spec’d and running instances is, having 2 healers… I don’t mind a talented druid helping ;)
