40-45 dungeons today
I'm running all the dungeons I can between levels 40-45 today, whisper me anytime 10-3 or so to join in! Edit: yes, yes we know the drops aren't as good as ZF or Uldaman, I finally realized it after you said it the 6th time. Hard to hear when you're covered in zombie pig blood.
Boy that was funny, now we just need to schedule an ulda run. I almost don't have the heart to tell you but no good blue plate chestpeices drop in any instance after RFD for quite some time. :) I was thinking of going in there again till I saw someone on thott say he never got it in 6 attempts! I'll probably just have someone make me an ornate mithril one: http://www.thottbot.com/?i=4598 Can you make those Ivers?
Ivers made an interesting discovery a few weeks back: you can roll on an item from any distance, inside an instance.
My proposal? Park noob(s) at entrance. Rogues stealth to named characters. Stab stabbity stab, etc. Noobs harvest loots.
Some might call it twinking. I call it tedious to farm in the first place. Why not harvest the gear, then run harder stuff than you might have attempted in the first place?
Hmm, "shopping." Interesting proposal. I have done the instance 3 times now so it's not that I haven't tried to put the effort in. That could be fun. I don't really need a decent helmet and breasplate to go into Uldaman, but it would be nice to have for sunken temple and Zul' farrak. We'll see. Can anyone make that ornate mithril breastplate?
Hey thanks a lot for that breastplate, I had mail wiht more armor than teh plate peives I had before that one, now I'm feeling ready for trogg smashing!
Just a word of warning: Uldaman is long. I'd suggest doing the lead-up quests that you can find in the Badlands, as you're getting into the range of instances that encourage some prep work before you tackle them.
Uldaman is "winged", just not very convincingly. There is a back entrance that drops you about in the middle. You can fight up to the midpoint one night, then from mid to end another night.
Also, the final boss is probably the most technical fight you've enountered yet. It takes seperate teams in your party doing seperate and very different things at the right time to win. Good fun, but be sure to bring your ankhs and soulstones if you want more than one try!

Thanks for the tips, looks like I'm starting to get to the bosses like the old side scroller games, you gotta know their pattern! Boy I loved magaman.
