Hmm, I'm inclined to agree with one of the comments on the OP. It's definately pimp looking, but the goofy enter and backslash are a big turn off. Also, "cold hard aluminum" would make it uncomfortable to work on methinks.
BTW - Brushed aluminum will *never* go out. I admit I'm a bit tired of seeing it used in really tacky ways, but it still remains that a nice heavy sheet of brushed aluminum looks really classy.
You can take that one to the bank.
I wouldn't mind working on a keyboard where the keys have a proper "throw" to them. I still have to work on an old Mac keyboard occasionally - the thing insults my fingers.
UGLY!
brushed alum, yes. This keyboard, no way in hell.
anyone seen the G15?
They were on display at Blizzcon. I wasn't very impressed. It's more than a full size keyboard, which is cool, but then they went and made it even bigger than necessary. All the plastic at the top, bottom, and sides could be just cut right off to make it less intrusive. The handles at the top left and right just seem like a silly waste of space. The LCD idea might be interesting if they had something neat to do with it, but out of the box it just tells you how much RAM and CPU% you're using. If you don't know I'll give you an hint:
All of it.
-and-
All of it.
=P
