1 down, 5200 gold to go...

Now for those of you that are thinking, Hot dang, how the F&*(%@ am I supposed to come up w/ the 5000+ gold to buy the epic flight ridding skill. Here some tips.

"Daily quests" You can do a total of 8 Daily quests (only one quest a day but 8 different "dailies)

At level 70 you gain more gold for quest turn ins so you will probably get 11.99g a turn in on these. So if you can do 8 x 12 that's about 100 a day w/o drops. For those of you casual players who get 2-3 hours in at a time. You should be able to make 250-300 with out too much AH action.

Also AH.. don't sell weapons and the like if you don't think they will be hot. W/ deposits reaching 12g Its probably better to melt it and put the mats on the AH for 0(unless this has been changed)

As for maraco... I am trying to sell an epic boe to make up about 1k. Hopefully before the wedding I should have 1/2 the money I would need.

Do You really need an epic flying mount? no. You can easily get anywhere in outlands with just the normal one.

Also picking a faction to grind rep for. Helpful and in the process of going for reputation you wind up getting items which you can sell for underpants or profit.

Now. As we all know, Maraco is poor because Enchanting is a money sink and have never sold any enchants actively. Also tailoring seems to be a money sink as well trying to collect the 400 motes of water that I have/need to collect just for 3 pieces of gear.

Just my 2c.

Or consider the netherwing rep grind.

Buyer's Remorse: It Can Happen to You, Too.

Ground mounts are worth the price, especially since the gold flows like wine now, and the price of a mount is easily within reach for a casual soloist.

Basic flying mounts let you access new content at a very reasonable price, easily attained during the climb to 70. Cutting across zones is very convenient. Climb to altitude, set a heading, hit autorun, go get a snack. No problem. The heights are seeded with neat little easter eggs and quest areas, only available to a flying player.

For an epic, you're really ready to spend 40-50 hours grinding and farming for a symbol that shows strangers that you spent 40-50 hours grinding to get a symbol?

I think the wyvrens are butt ugly so yes, I am going to grind for hours just so I can have a status symbol, so every minute I grind after that I'm not grinding on something that looks like @$$! Netherdrake FTW!

Well screw that "or consider the netherwing rep grind" comment. I went back to start "act 2" of the quest chain (basically the neutral to friendly chain) only to be turned down because I haven't yet paid for the level 300 flying skill. 5000 gold, that is. Ugh. And here I thought I was getting around the heavy price.

@Hidoi: Where are you in the netherwing chain? Have you bought your riding skill?

I haven't even started yet, I'm level 58, heck I don't even know wehre the quests are! Also I've only got 3000 gold so far so I've got a bit to go.

3k is far better than most. You'll do fine leveling to 70
