Help
So My video card decided to fry itself, it was a Radeon 9800. Advice on equivalent or better cards I should look for or any idea on how I can get one on the cheap? Thanks. Oh and until them no wow for me, so that's why I haven't been on.
Cool got a new card now, but the computer still gives me those overheat warning beeps, hmm, I'll have to check if it is actually over the safe levels or if the bios just has the warning temp set too low.
I double checked all the connections then ran wow a bit and there have been no warning beeps since, I think I'm going to wait for it to happen again before I go into it further and check on that. Maybe I'll run some UT2004 and see if that overheats it.
Ok, ok, I think it's all done now. The new card's driver's were installed on top of the old drivers, this might have been causing problems as I couldn't get 3D Acceleration to work, so I uninstalled all old video drivers then reinstalled the new ones and that did it. Oh and thanks for the hellfire citadel runs, I had a blast.

x700 agp version is pretty good.

What temperature is the BIOS reading when your alarm goes off?
