Gold is not more "everywhere" but USES for iron ore everywhere, and uses for gold are almost nonexistant. Perhaps they could let us sell gold to vendors for 1g per bar? then it would be way mroe usefull. Anyway with jewel crafting it should probably be a little more valuable.

that was me. i decided to enlist my alliance alchemist and transmute iron to gold. next step, smuggle it across the border :)
=p iron is worth MUCH more than gold.
So wait, you don't need it anyome then? Any yes, iron is worth more, I sell steel for just slightly less than thorium, but it is loads easier to find.
really.. a stack of gold bar was going for 8~10g last night. I've got way too much iron.

i used to have lots of gold bars but used 'em up for field duty quests.
