it's a boy
there were some rough moments toward the end, but sherie and baby made it ok. it was born 7 lbs-11oz and 21 inches tall at 10:42pm 4/27. sherie got 2nd degree tearing and was feeling every stitch as her epidurl buff wore off. our baby is doing fine. i came home because i needed to play wowi wasn't allowed to stay. tomorrow, everyone is coming home.

ok, does your clan give names to its offspring or do you have a hard time differentiating the grubs from the larvae so why bother with a name?

thanks all. heh, his full name is ethan jeremy chen. there will be a taiwanese version of passing out cigars when ethan turns 1 month old. pictures should be coming soon. sherie is on a 4 week baby making cooldown. people tell us we'll be so tired that any spare time will be used for sleeping. i can't tell if he's gonna roll a horde yet, but he's already casting aoe fear and demoralizing shouts.
If you can just get him to sleep with a pair of chopsticks in one hand and a mouse in the other...

he also thunderclaps with an aoe poison. he opened his eyes as soon as he came out. very weird. a little like that alien squid kid from MIB.
