Some of you may have noticed this site was down for a short time yesterday. We had an environmental power outage. Sorry about the trouble.
Now for the scheduled downtime. Power is being shut off to the entire facility here for two days on the 22nd and 23rd of this month. The purpose is to connect a new building to the main power feed, and to take advantage of the downtime to do maintenance on that feed. Unless I feel like coming over here on the 24th and powering everything back on, the server may actually be down for some time. I'll try to put together an email list with all the members on it some time between now and then so we still have a communication channel.

Yes, we're using Blogger's interface but the site sits on my server.

Also remember that since the blogger interface will still be accessible, you can write something up and "save as draft". Blogger will hold it until the server is back up, and then you can go in and publish it.
