Memoirs of a 中国人
So I'm gonna go see the movie tonight, but it really bugs me that the people playing Japaneese people look so Chineese, anyone else notice that? Maybe as I watch it I'll get immersed and forget about it because I'm sure they are exellent actors; but when I see those perviews of Chineese people dressing like Japaneese it just looks wierd. Comments?

Yeah I could tell they were Chineese that's the part I thought was wierd, but if your sis in law wasn't distracted by that I'll probably be fine. While I'm talking to you, I did assult on fenris isles in a group of 4 Mages and 1 preist (me) Is there any more wacky a group combo than that? We made it up to the boss then died and got someone's leve 32 brother to help :P Then last night me a level 18 preist teamed up with a level 33 druid and a level 18 mage to do Shadow Fang Keep, it was also wacky and we made it to the boss and died. Alot. dang PUGs are fun, especially when you're trying to heal them.

goatse? As in a goat? I'm just not seeing that one, I used to think it looked like fancy hat back when I played Legend of the five rings. Did you know goats have octopus eyes?

The actors made an admirable effort to speak the language naturally, and even though it wasn't perfect they did ok.
The movie was long and painfully boring.

Re: goatse - I'm sure google will help you out on that one. Be warned: you may want to claw out your eyes after seeing it; don't blame me if it bothers you.
Woah! SO I saw the movie and yes the cinematography was beautiful and the actors were very skilled but I thought I've read several times that geishas were not prostitutes. In the movie they sell their virginity off to the highest bidder in an alarming way. You guys know I love auctions and all but I thought they were strictly entertainers. and to swong: as I need my eyes to play WOW I won't bother education myself on the subject.
Ok so after posting the above one I did some research and is appears that some genuine geishas would sell their virginity but after that would not have sex with clients or at least much. Once a powerful man decided a certain geisha was their favorite they would become their danna-san which was more like a sponsor or concubine relationship where she made herself sexually available to him exclusively but would still do her entertaining job.
