It's dangerous for tax preparers to play this game.
Ok so as I side job I do taxes, and lately I've been taking my continuing education classes on the weekends to keep my license, so I've got money on the brain. My charcter has been mining copper like crazy and selling it for a bit on the AH, but last night I found out I can but tin for 10S and smelt it with the copper I find and sell it for ~ 90S!! Man, I haven't left Orgrimmar since! I keep logging in at random times to see if i can get any more cheap bars of tin for sale, then seeing when bronze is in demand, it's great! I swear I need to make an alt. and just leave it next to the AH this is too much fun! I almost have 2G and I'm only level 13! (I think that's a lot, is it?) Man I wish I was this good at making money in the real world.

12g on my lvl 17 Alliance alt, though at the Alliance auction house bronze goes for the same price as copper.
There's a nice population of bored lvl 60s out there with alts to twink and too much cash on their hands. Here's to getting your mount at level 40 on your first character.

Hey, that's "arbitrage"... Yeah, there is some use to all this economics nonesense that I'm spending all this time learning! Nothing like spending 5 years and 10's of thousands of dollars in order to impress (maybe) your friends in a video game! Yeah!
Well I guess I got lucky that night, I'm only making around 10S profit now rathar than the ~70s I made the other night. I'm gonna see how the weekend fares.
There are other markets inside the AH that are good to game. Also remember that the market conditions tend to flex a little based on the time of day, and the day of the week.
heh, i save all the stuff i want to sell for saturday and sunday morning. i've notice (at least for me) that stuff sells better on sat/sun.
Yeah it's all about timing. Now that I have monitered the times a bit I'm back to making 65S (400%)profits. 5g for a level 14 is pretty good I think. I need to level and start getting steel.
