When you learned what a horcrux was, did you imediately think of WoW and warlocks?

I did a light google search trying to find out if the word was made up by JK Rowling, and to my mild disapointment it seems that she did. Nevertheless, there are enough coincidences to make it fun. Both the function of the object and the way in which it is created is a perfect match to the warlock's soulstone.
Which came first soul shards or horcruxes?
Well... I suppose it's *possible* that she had the word in her manuscript long before the Blizzard dev team came up with soulstones, but I highly doubt it. In which case it leaves one to wonder, does JK Rowling play WoW? :)
